“We’re a purpose-driven women’s real estate network devoted to local real estate and community enhancement. A group of ambitious and innovative women who believe in the power of collective action.” - COCO Founder, Dorothea Renner

Meet Our Founder

Dorothea Renner, founder of COCO, is a respected talent and leadership development executive whose career has spanned the United States and Europe, supporting organizations from Fortune 100 companies to high-growth startups. With nearly two decades of experience driving organizational effectiveness and cultural transformation, she has held roles at Comcast, HelloFresh, Deloitte, and Bayer, as well as leading her own advisory firm, Cohesion Consulting.

Her work has always centered on helping organizations and people navigate complexity, unlock potential, and build something meaningful, skills that now extend naturally into her approach to real estate and community building.

Dorothea’s career has taken her across New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Denver, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Germany, and Switzerland, with each chapter deepening her curiosity about how people live, invest, and shape the places around them. It was during her move to Denver that she found another place to call home and found a renewed connection to a long-held passion: reimagining overlooked spaces and transforming them into vibrant, livable environments with a focus on thoughtful, sustainable design.

Raised in a financially stable, community-minded, yet very risk-averse household, Dorothea approached investing with intention and initially caution. Over time, her confidence grew, leading her to take on her own real estate projects, first in Philadelphia and later in Denver. Her work has evolved toward creative, community-oriented housing solutions, including her current project in Congress Park, a single-family home with plans for an ADU designed to enhance both livability and long-term value.

While her formal career is not in real estate, Dorothea brings a unique lens shaped by years of leadership, strategy, and human-centered design. She founded COCO to create the kind of space she wished existed, one where women can learn, connect, and explore more expansive approaches to ownership and investment.

She continues to learn alongside the community, seeing her role not as an expert with all the answers, but as a thoughtful connector, bringing together ideas, people, and opportunities in ways that feel both accessible and meaningful.

Outside of her work, Dorothea is a proud dog mom to Lucky, whose friendly personality makes him a natural ambassador on their daily walks, often sparking the very kind of connection COCO is built to foster.
